What stays on your device

Website and installed app. The browser website and installed Moonspace app keep separate local storage. Moonspace does not provide account sync or transfer saved items between the website and app. Your device’s operating system may copy app data through backup, restore or device transfer, depending on its settings. Removing the app removes its installed local copy; operating-system backups are managed separately in your device or backup service settings. In connected app builds, one validated public collection of listings and community posts is stored for offline reading and replaced after successful downloads. Launch plans stay in memory; cloud forecasts are temporary and are not an offline confirmation of launch conditions. App content, launch and forecast requests include no saved identifiers, searches, draft text, cookies or account credentials. Maps, external links and messages you choose to send use the selected service.

When you choose to contact us

The suggestion form prepares an email for you to review. “Open email app” creates a draft; you decide whether to send. Copying the text puts it on your clipboard. Your email app or device may keep drafts or copied text under its own settings.

If you send a suggestion, correction or support email, we receive your sender address, the name your email includes, your message and any attachments you add. We use this information to review the issue, check public details and respond.

We select and edit public information before posting it. Suggestions are not automatically published, and your sender email address is not added to the board. Please send public organizer links instead of private invitations or other people’s personal details.

Messages are handled in our email account. This website does not apply an automatic email deletion schedule. You can ask us to review or remove information you sent using the contact below.

The connections that make it work

• Website and launch updates. Amazon Web Services hosts the site and our shared launch feed. Our server retrieves public launch information from The Space Devs; your browser requests our shared copy rather than contacting that launch-data API directly.
• Weather. Opening the sky forecast can connect your browser to the National Weather Service to request the forecast for Lompoc.
• Maps and other sites. Website: the embedded Google map loads only when you choose “Load Google map.” Installed apps: “Open Google Maps” and “Get directions” open an external app or browser with the selected public place and address; no Google map is embedded in the installed app. Moonspace does not add your searches, saved list or device GPS location to these map links. Those external services have their own privacy practices. Organizer pages and official launch links also connect to the selected service when opened.
• Email. Messages you send to our public company email address are handled by your email provider and Google’s email service.

These connections expose ordinary request information, such as an IP address and browser details, to the service receiving them. Hosting and service providers may keep operational or security records. Your saved-list identifiers and unsent suggestion text are not included in our content, launch or weather requests. While the site is open, it checks our published listings and community news periodically and when you return. The current collections stay in page memory; this does not provide offline access after closing the page.

The current Moonspace site has no account registration, advertising trackers or added analytics SDKs. It does not request your GPS location or sell your saved-list data.

Your choices

“Share this listing” opens your device’s share options when supported. You choose the destination and whether to continue. Only the public listing information and its link are prepared, without your searches or saved list. Your selected app handles anything you share. “Copy information & link” writes that public text to your clipboard only when you press it.

You can browse without saving anything, leave maps unopened, and review an email before sending. Clear this site’s browser data to remove its local saved list and temporary weather copy. Your browser controls its history, form restoration and other caches separately.

To ask about an email or published item related to you, contact hello@moonspacelompoc.com. Tell us which item you mean and what you want reviewed, corrected or removed. We may need enough information to locate it and confirm the request.

These requests are reviewed by a person; this site has no automatic online deletion tool. We cannot clear your browser or remove copies held independently by an organizer, search engine or another service from an email request.

Keep family details private

Family activity filters describe public activities; they do not ask for a child’s profile or birth date. Please leave children’s names, photos, private addresses, health details and personal contact information out of suggestions. A parent or caregiver can share an organizer’s public activity page instead.

If personal information appears in a post, use “Report this post” or email us with the post title or link so we can review it.
